Western Port Down Under
Western Port Down Under (WPDU) is a landmark social impact campaign that brings together science, storytelling and community engagement to showcase one of Australia’s most ecologically significant yet under-recognised marine environments. Despite its international importance as a Ramsar wetland and blue-carbon hotspot, Western Port remains poorly understood and under-documented. WPDU addresses this gap by creating world-class content and shared, accessible resources that can be used by communities, schools, industry, government and conservation organisations.

Ocean Literacy Portal
Australia is an island nation whose future is tied to the health of its oceans, yet ocean literacy is largely absent from the national curriculum. The result is a generation growing up without the knowledge or tools to understand and protect our most vital life-support system. empower students, and inspire the next generation of ocean stewards. Australian Ocean Literacy Portal, address will address this, becoming a freely accessible, hub that consolidates curriculum-aligned lesson plans, activities, and an interactive national map of marine education providers. It will also integrate and consolidate existing resources, making it a true one-stop shop for ocean literacy, that is overseen by a reference group of sector leaders and researchers.
