A legacy campaign to reveal, celebrate and protect one of Australia’s hidden marine treasures using art, technology and conservation
The Project
Western Port Down Under is a powerful social impact movement and call to action, one that combines science, storytelling, and strategy to drive real-world impact. From classrooms to boardrooms to beaches, we’re creating legacy marine content to educate, engage and empower the next generation of ocean advocates while reminding us that the health of these ecosystems is intricately intertwined with our own.
The campaign includes; a documentary, ‘Living Book’, schools program, tourism discovery trail across key sites, a community screening roadshow and an interactive online education and advocacy portal that is packed with resources including a free media library to unify messaging and support local conservation.
Our vision for this project is to resource the community and key stakeholders, share the science and encourage exploration, inspire pride of place, and foster lasting marine stewardship of Western Port.
This project build’s on the incredible success of Melbourne Down Under, a project we seed funded and are proud to say secured over $5million in free media coverage nationally and internationally, while the documentary was screen on Network Ten multiple times.
